💧 A Spirit-Led Response to the Hill Country Floods

💧

A Spirit-Led Response to the Hill Country Floods

Stronger storms, greater sorrow. Over the July 4 weekend, flash flooding devastated Central Texas communities—including Austin, Burnet, Travis, Williamson, Burnet, Kendall, and Kerr counties—claiming over 80 lives, including many children   . This tragedy hits us close to home. As a spiritually diverse community, our calling is to respond with compassion, service, and unity.

🕊️

Spiritual Call to Action

When tragedy strikes, prayer is not enough—it must move through us into action. Our shared spiritual values compel us to help not just with words, but with tangible support: love in motion.

Start small: light a candle, hold the image of those impacted in your heart, speak words of healing. Then act: donate, volunteer, collect supplies. Your love can anchor hope in their darkest moments.

💬

Spiritual Practice for Healing

Create a home prayer or ritual to hold all impacted in healing light:

  • Light a white candle.

  • Hold a crystal like blue lace agate (peace) or clear quartz (amplification).

  • Breathe deeply and say:

“May those affected by the floods feel shelter, strength, and hope. May our hands serve, our hearts hold, our minds witness—and our love ripple through every response.”

Speak their names silently, send them peace, then step forward with love in action.

May the Church of New Enchantment continue to stand for compassion, unity, and sacred service. 🌿✨
